Do I need an Amex Platinum card?
You need an Amex Platinum or Centurion card to book FHR/THC hotels and use the hotel credit. BetterFHR helps you search — the actual booking happens on Amex Travel.
How does the $300 hotel credit work?
The Amex Platinum card gives you up to $300 in statement credits every 6 months (Jan-Jun and Jul-Dec) when you book FHR or THC hotels through Amex Travel. Use it or lose it — it doesn't roll over.
